Therapeutic Massage was founded by registered nurse, F. Kinkner, after her husband, L. Kinkner, made a suggestion in 1999 that she start a massage business in Beresford, SD. The original location of the business was 107 West Hemlock. In 2002, the business was moved to its new location at 106 East Main, just east of Hill Pharmacy, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 28, 2002. The new location featured two massage rooms as well as an infrared sauna room.
