The following is a list of the television shows which were shown as a part of IPTV's weekly science-fiction program block, known originally as Sci-Fi Friday Night during the 1990s and later as Sci-Fi Saturday Night during most of the early 2000s.

Day of the TriffidsBritish science-fiction miniseries
Doctor WhoBritish science-fiction/fantasy series: This long-running British science-fiction/fantasy series is about an alien known only as "the Doctor," who (along with his companions) travels through space and time in a machine called the TARDIS. Due to a malfunction in the chameleon circuit of the TARDIS, the exterior of the machine is stuck in the shape of a 1960s British police box. While the other fictional shows in the program block occasionally varied over time, this series was always part of the program block.
Hitchhiker's Guide to the GalaxyBritish science-fiction/fantasy/comedy miniseries: This miniseries is about a twentieth century man who is taken away from his ordinary life on Earth by an alien. Afterwards, this baffled human accompanies the alien on a series of bizarre adventures in space and time. The miniseries is based on the series of novels by Douglas Adams.
The Invisible ManBritish science-fiction series
Jack Horkheimer: Star Hustler
(later renamed Jack Horkheimer: Star Gazer)
American naked-eye astronomy series: This weekly series (hosted at the time by the show's creator, Jack Horkheimer) told viewers what was visible in the night sky. A new episode was aired each week. This was the only program in the Sci-Fi Friday/Saturday Night program block which was not fictional. It was always the first show in the program block; and, its space theme was shared by most of the other programs in the block.
NeverwhereBritish fantasy miniseries: This miniseries is about a man who finds himself separated from his normal life and caught up in a supernatural parallel world located in the sewers of London, England.
OktoberBritish miniseries
The PrisonerBritish science-fiction miniseries: This miniseries is about a British secret agent who has resigned under mysterious circumstances. He wakes up to find himself in a strange community known only as the Village, which is a sort of prison. The purpose of the Village is to monitor its residents and to determine their secrets.
Red DwarfBritish science-fiction/fantasy/comedy series: This series is about a crew consisting (most of the time) of four males (the last human, a hologram, an evolved cat, and an android) who are trapped in deep space in the distant future. The group find themselves caught up in amusing situations and occasionally go on various adventures together.
